The opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced family law paralegal to help us manage a growing caseload and to bring real expertise to our small team. You’ll work closely with Sunitha Anjilvel (our attorney) and Kit and Erin (our practice team), and your judgment and experience will genuinely shape how we run cases day to day. This isn’t a role where you’ll be one of many paralegals lost in a big department. You’ll be a trusted partner from day one.
What you’ll do
- Draft and prepare family law pleadings: petitions, responses, motions, declarations, parenting plans, and financial documents
- Manage case deadlines, court schedules, and King County e-filing
- Prepare materials for hearings, mediations, and trial
- Communicate with clients directly, with clarity and compassion, during some of the hardest moments of their lives
- Work side by side with our attorney and practice team on day-to-day case management
- Help us refine our workflows and processes as we grow
What you bring
- A few years of Washington family law paralegal experience, ideally with King County courts
- Solid knowledge of Washington family law procedures, forms, and court rules
- Strong writing and organizational skills, and the ability to stay on top of multiple deadlines
- A compassionate, steady communication style with clients navigating difficult circumstances
- Comfort with case management software (we use Clio); we’re happy to train on the specifics

Compensation and details
Salary: $31.25–$40.90 per hour, depending on experience, plus a performance-based bonus (structure to be finalized before offer stage)
401(k): offered, with employer matching
Healthcare: not currently offered, but a near-term firm goal as we grow
Location: in-person at our Redmond home office, most working days; core hours 9 or 10am to 4 or 5pm
